Hello, I feel like I haven't posted or even read any blogs on blogspot in ages. I have a deadline for the Faded Summer project for Next Tuesday and after that I'll be missing college for three weeks because of the holiday so I'm trying to keep on top of my work. Doing college work is pretty much all I've been doing lately, and having lots of unsuccessful shopping trips for holiday clothes, until today when I finally found a pink dress.

1. The first day in ages that my hair and make-up went just how I wanted it to, even though I wasn't going anywhere other than to my boyfriends house.
2. Some beautiful flowers Steven bought me, the next week he bought me some pink roses too.
3. It was my Grandads birthday the other week and everyone chipped in and bought him an iPad!
4. Laura baked some cute cupcakes for Valentines day.
5. Barbie sprinkles and delicious icing for mine and Stevens valentines cake.
6. The cake disaster, took forever to cook and looked rubbish but it tastes really nice I swear.
7. Bubble gum pink polka dot nails, I've had really plain nails for ages now so I took some time to do them.
8. Today I finally found a pink dress to take on holiday with me.

It's only 13 days until I go on holiday now and I'm really am getting so excited about it. Today I went into Newcastle to take some jeans back for Steven and I ended up texting Mark last minute and he came to town with me. We hadn't seen each other in about 5 months so it was really lovely to have a catch up with him, and we're going to arrange to meet up again next week too which will be nice. Hello,this week I haven't been that busy as I was off college on Monday and ended up going home early on Tuesday as I still wasn't feeling too good. But yesterday I decided I wanted to change my theme for this project so I went to the Metro Centre to try and get a new sketchbook but there wasn't any I liked or any in the right size, so I went shopping for a little bit, got the bus home and Steven picked me up from the bus stand and we went to Team Valley to Hobby Craft where I found a sketchbook and bought some pastel coloured Pro markers for my new project.

I started doing some research work this morning but now I have quite a bit of drawing work to get done considering I've changed my theme two weeks into the project. But I just came to a dead end with the space one and I didn't like the colours or the drawings so hopefully this one will turn out better, well it'll have too.

Other than doing that and tidying my room this morning I haven't done much else apart from paint my nails. I found my nail wraps I got off Lucy for Christmas so I decided to try them out, I had started to paint my nails pink before I decided to try them, and the colours don't exactly go well together but never mind.

I thought I might as well show you what I got at the Metro before I tidied them away. The top is a bit see through, as you can see the outline of my waist with the sun shining in from the window behind me, but it'll be fine for during the day with denim shorts (which I need to buy).

It took me awhile to decided whether to get this jacket or not, I've been wanting one for ages just because I always see other people wearing them and it just makes everything look so much smarter. I was going to get the grey one but it looked too formal so I eventually ended up getting this one instead, I was going to get the dress too but I changed my mind because I wasn't too sure about it, but maybe I should go back and get it.

I also bought a plain white baggyish t-shirt too, and after buying them I changed my cardigan for the pink jacket, tied my hair up and I looked so much older, it was strange. I had my converse, a plain white top and jeans on and I actually felt quite nice in what I was wearing. After clothes shopping I popped into Superdrug which is always a big mistake and ended up buying a couple of things I'd been wanting for awhile.
I bought a Sleek lipstick called Pink freeze, it's very similar to the Barry M 153 colour which I love, but this is a little more pink and has a very matte finish, I'm really pleased with it and it was only £4.

Then I ended up buying this foundation which I've heard loads and loads of people raving about. I bought it in the shade 52 and it's a little dark as I haven't been bothering with the tan the past week but it's so good.

It smells delicious, stays on all day and it doesn't break me out. I'm throwing out my MAC today so I've now only got my GOSH, tiny sample of Estée Lauder, Illamasqua and that above for my foundations. I think I might even throw the Illamasqua one out because it's way too light and doesn't sit on my skin well at all, I just hate feeling like I've wasted money but there's no point keeping it in a draw when I know I'm not going to use it ever again.

Oh and finally I dyed my hair, and it's really quite dark. It has gone darker than I was expecting but on Tuesday when I left college early I missed my second bus home so I went into the little local Superdrug just for a look around (I bought the foundation on Tuesday) and I kept catching my reflection in the mirrors when I was looking at the make-up and it just looked awful. I would have never been able to get the colour to stay the same as it was a light brown over the blonde so when my roots were coming through even if I dyed them they'd never go the same colour as the rest of the hair.

I'm still growing my hair and it's finally starting to grow fast again which I'm so pleased about. Plus with it being one simple colour it's easier to re-dye the roots when they come through. I also bought an Argan oil hair mask conditioner and it's AMAZING, I washed my hair, put that in for about five minutes, towel dried my hair, sprayed the TRESemmé heat protection spray in my hair then poured afew drops of Argan oil into my hands and ran it through my hair and it's never felt so soft. I just want to run my fingers through it all day and it's so shiny and silky, the only thing is it maybe a bit too soft to actually do anything with my hair but it feels lovely and healthy.

Now I really, really am going to leave my hair this colour because I'd rather wait to have long hair than ruin it with trying to change the colour every so often and end up have to get loads cut off.

For the rest of the day I'm going to do some drawing work, and then see Steven later. Tomorrow I'm going to try and see my Grandma in the morning then in the afternoon we both have doctors appointments for our holiday injections and then we're going out for tea for "being brave". I'm not sure were we'll be going though possibly some where new because last night we were talking about the holiday and things and it turned into the whole food conversation that we’ve had about a million times (I wont go to new places/try new food/he wants to try lots of different food on holiday, which is fair enough) so I said we could go anywhere at all for tea, I wouldn’t complain and if there was nothing on the menu that I’d like then I’d have to try something new. Then after half an hour of him making sure I was fine with doing that, we got to Metro and at the last minute he changed lanes and drove home and we ended up getting a pizza to cook instead, so he can’t complain I wasn’t willing to try things. But tonight we’re having beans on toast for tea as we're trying to not get fast food so much and save some money, and on Saturday going to see if my mam and step dad would like to go out while we look after my brothers and me and Steven are going to cook crispy chicken fajitas which I've never had before but I'd really like to try them.

Hello, today I was supposed to be in college but this morning when walking home from my boyfriends house I felt really poorly and I kept waking up during the night so I decided to stay at home today. Other than feeling a bit under the weather I haven't done too much apart from ring the doctors and book an appointment to get my holiday injections for Friday, and write down the dates in my new Juicy Lucy calendar. It's making me really excited to think it's only a month and two weeks away.

Oh and I finally got the jumper I'd been wanting, I did go looking for a purse too but I couldn't find one I liked, and on the way home from the Metro I bought a magazine and this Topshop purse was in there, so maybe I should have looked harder because it's beautiful.

I was supposed to post about this dress ages ago as I got it way before Christmas, but this is one I'll be taking away with me. I wore it for Christmas day and for holiday I'll probably put it on for the night time meal with my black high shoes, if I can walk in them anyway.

This morning after I had my shower I decided to just leave my hair to dry naturally as I don't often have the time to just leave it. It actually went quite nice on the underneath sections, it went into little ringlets and curls but the top sections just went really frizzy and horrible so I've put it into pin curls and hopefully it turns out okay. I usually curl my hair with a curling iron then pin the curls up but I didn't want to use any heat on it today, so I might end up taking them out and be greeted with an even frizzier mess but we'll see.

Hello, today I finally got around to doing some of the things on yesterdays list! I tidied my bedroom, well half tidied it as I still need to put my clothes in the washing machine as my washing basket that's hidden under my desk is over flowing, my mam isn't going to be happy in the morning when I bring a huge pile of clothes down to wash. I still need to hoover and tidy some other bits away too but it's getting there, and I done some drawing work and got some images for my new college project too and I actually like the drawings I've done despite putting off doing them all week. It consisted of drawing the surface of the moon and a man in a spacesuit and they've come out quite well for half blind drawings, half blind because you're supposed to just look at the image and draw where as I kept taking a peep at the page every now and again but I like them.

The theme for this project is Celebration/Occasion, I'm not entirely sure how I got to it being about space but it's kind of like celebrating technology improving and the whole visiting the moon kind of thing. And the whole childlike and not-so-perfect drawings are because of "children of the future" are the ones that are going to experience all the new things, it's basically something along those lines.

Other than tidying my room and doing a bit of drawing work I'd spent the morning getting ready as I was planning on going to see my Grandma but she wasn't in and didn't ring me back until after dinner time. By then it was nearly 1pm and me and Steven we're supposed to go to the Metro when he got home, but that didn't end up happening so I got ready and had no where to go.

But today was a good hair and make-up day which is usually the case when I have no where to go. I'm still tempted to dye my hair blonde again as it's quite light and the blonde is coming through anyway but I'm not 100% sure. I wouldn't need to use as many products and dyes as I did the last time I went blonde because I was really dark but I'm holding out for now and trying to resist the urge even though this picture of Emma Stone is making me want to dye it blonde right this very second.

Tonight Steven has gone out for a meal with his family, so I've sat and done my work and I got a text off my mam who was sitting downstairs (lazy sod) asking me to come down and paint her nails for her. We ended up going for a plain black and I put the Rimmel matte coat on top and she looked at them asking what I'd put on to make them "look funny" so I painted over them with a Rimmel glitter and she really liked them. We also got a chance to have a talk, we don't do it very often but once in a while when my step dad is night shift/out and my brothers are in bed we just have really nice talk about everything. I'm lucky to have a mam who I can tell anything too, we've always been really open about things and I'm so grateful for it. We talked about all sorts of things, but the thing she was shocked about was the fact I really want to get married and I have it all planned out in my head already. I think she was a little taken back by it as that's really the only thing I'd never mentioned to her as it'd never come up before, but it was so lovely to talk to her and have our time together.

I was supposed to be stopping at Stevens tonight but it looks like he's going to be home late so I'm just going to spend the night at home and hopefully we'll get to go shopping tomorrow instead. I've put my sketchbook away for the night and put my PJ's on so I'm all tucked up in bed while looking about online, and I spotted these two bags that are just perfect;

New change;

Hello, if you're reading this post I'm guessing you've noticed the change to my blog already. I felt like the old theme and layout was well, old, and I fancied a change for the new year. Yeah I'm nearly two weeks late with changing it around but better late than never. I'm going to be 20 years old in June and I feel like I need to find my style, and find out what I really like. When ever I go shopping there's always lots of different styles of clothing that I like, so everything I own is quite mis-matched and nothing quite goes together very well. I also feel that I don't quite dress my age or look my age and I constantly get mistaken for being 16 or less, I'm sure I'll appreciate it when I'm older, which is what everybody always says after I tell them I'm actually 19.

So this year I plan to try and find out what I really like to wear, and just be more comfortable with myself and how I look. I'm already drinking more water and taking better care of my skin, and hopefully my hair will grow longer over the year too and I'll just gain a little more confidence instead of thinking I look okay when I'm in the house then getting outside/in public and thinking I look awful all the time.

Talking about clothes and things, I went shopping yesterday for some holiday ones. I spotted this pastel green skirt in the H&M sale and got it for £3, the top is from Miss Selfridge and I plan to wear it with this skirt and/or my maxi skirts I got from Topshop last summer, and the necklace is from H&M too.

I spotted this gorgeous jumper in Topshop the other day, I really wanted to buy it then and there but I decided against it as one of the girls from college just bought it the other day and we also have the same Topshop coat, so it'd look silly if we both came in wearing the same coat AND jumper. But the more I look at it the more I want it, so I'm going to get it and just wear it on my days off college I suppose. The bag I saw on the Miss Selfridge website this morning, when I was in the shop yesterday I didn't see it anywhere so maybe you can only get it online but I might pop back down at the weekend and have another look around and if I can't find it I'll order it online. I really want a simple bag to take on holiday with me, just for the plane and for walking around with as I don't want to take my Alexa with me. The cute cat one is really lovely and it'd be perfect for just keeping the day-to-day things in and I wont be worrying about spilling sun cream or something on it.

Today's plans were to tidy my room and do some drawing work but I haven't done either so far, I just get distracted far too easily. I'm going to try and sort my blog out as much as I can, so I'm sorry for some of the posts looking quite messy and the images not being the right size and stuff. I think I might make a nice blog title too but I'll probably do that another day, so it's going to take awhile.

Pink and purple and blue;

Hello.

I wasn't planning on writing this post today, I was going to wait until tomorrow as I'm going shopping today but my boyfriend is taking ages at the gym so I thought I'd squeeze a post in today.

The reason I'm wanting to go shopping today is for some new make-up. As usual I can't decide on a foundation as I've been using the gradual self tan moisturiser so my skin isn't it's usual colour. Right now I have four different foundations as you can see in the picture below;

Illamasqua rich liquid in 115 - Which right now I can't use as it's WAY too light for me now, also it doesn't sit on my skin well and it goes all funny around my nose and no my chin. But before I started using the tanning moisturiser the colour was perfect which is why I bought it in the first place, but it just doesn't look nice on my skin after about 15 minutes.

Clinqué super balanced 27 Alablaster - The colour was abit too dark before the gradual tan, and I've used it once/twice the past week and it just makes my skin look oily, even with powder so I think I'm going to give it to my mam to use as there's quite abit left.

MAC studio fix fluid NC15 - I really love this foundation, it stays on perfectly and is a lovely colour but it brings me out in spots! I'm really disappointed about, I watched and read reviews on this foundation loads of times before I bought it and afew people had said that it does bring people out in spots and unfortunately I'm one of them :(

GOSH X-ceptional wear Porcelain - I like this foundation and I've bought it quite afew times now as it's one I always seem to go back to, but it doesn't give me the coverage that I want, I still really like it but if this and the MAC could collide it'd be perfect!

For the rest of my day-to-day make-up these are what I use;

Eye lash curlers (every other day), LUSH lip service on my eyebrows as wax, Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer in either 1 or 2, Bonjouris clubbing liquid eyeliner, Rimmel black eye liner for my waterline, collection 2000 eyeliner pen, Collection 2000 eyebrow pencil in blonde, Rimmel white eyeliner, Maybelline cat eye mascara, L'Oreal Paris lash architect 4D mascara, MAC skin finish in soft and gentle for highlight, Sleek face contour kit (brilliant), Benefit Moody eye shadow for my eyebrows.

These are the things I use every day, sometimes with a Barry M blush and maybe eye shadow too but I don't wear it very often as I just prefer eye liner by itself.

But today I'm going shopping and hopefully I'm return home with the Estée Lauder double wear foundation. My friend Lucy works for them and gave me a sample about a month or longer ago and I remember really liking it and putting it away to use for "special occasions" because it was only a sample and I didn't want to use it up straight away. But I found it this week again and the times I've used it I've loved it, it's just like the MAC studio fix but better coverage and it doesn't break me out.

My boyfriend has just called to say he's coming to pick me up so I best go and get ready and I'll post again either tomorrow or sometime next week.

New year;

For the first time in years I've been really excited for a new year to start. Last year was amazing, seriously one of the best years I've ever had, I've gained so much more confidence in myself and I feel better about myself in general.

2012;

- Organise everything for holiday on February 29th

- Take care of my skin

- Drink lots of water

- To not cut my hair until next year (if possible)

- Possibly learn to drive or at least pass my theory test

- Finish college

- Turn 20 in June

- Eat less junk food and try new food

- Get a job

- Do something nice for my boyfriend on his 25th birthday in April

- Save money

- Take more pictures

Maybe I'll add to this list, but for now that's what's came to mine first.

I'm positive this year will be amazing, I hope I'm going to be right.

It's nearly Christmas time and I'm so excited!

Since breaking up for college for the holidays I haven't really done much at all, I've lazed about, done a tiny bit of college work, and spent some time with my boyfriend as he's been finishing work early pretty much every day. I've spent most mornings watching Jeremy Kyle on TV (sad I know) and I made myself a lovely hot chocolate with squirty cream on top the other morning too and it was delicious.

I've also been getting my Christmas presents in the past week too, and decided to make my own wrapping paper by getting a big roll of plain brown paper from the post office and then hand printing white hearts on it with a potato that I'd cut into shape.

I'm really happy with how it turned out and I hope every one likes their pretty paper. I still need to buy for one of my brothers and my Grandmas so me and my boyfriend are having a last minute trip to the Metro tomorrow to get them something, but unfortunately I ran out of my own paper so theirs will have to be wrapped in something else :(

I've been tidying my bedroom up too, my desk it as clear as it's going to get and I can't really tidy anything else away because all of the presents are wrapped up and put into huge bags in my room so I wont be able to tidy properly until Christmas is over. But I found some cute heart shaped lights this morning and made my bed all cute ready for my boyfriend to come and stay over on Christmas day night (if he wants to that is!)

I've also decided what I'm wearing for the meal on Christmas eve; my navy ASOS dress, black tights, little black belt with the heart shapes out out of it, and my black high heeled boots. Well I think so anyway and tomorrow I'm going to look for a red dress to wear on Christmas day, hopefully I find a nice one.

I have a pretty busy day tomorrow, but right now I'm waiting for my boyfriend to get home from a meal with his friend then I'll spend sometime with him tonight watching rubbish tv, perfect.

Hello,

I'VE FINALLY BROKEN UP FOR CHRISTMAS!

And I've changed my blog to make it look more Christmassy so I hope you all like it, I have this background for my tumblr, iPhone, twitter and my laptop screen too.

I got my bursary money in the bank yesterday so me and my boyfriend are going Christmas shopping on Friday to get everything we need all in one night so we're all sorted. I'm more excited to wrap them all up, they're getting wrapped in brown paper and I think we're going to make a stamp with a potato and white paint and print a pattern on the paper and tie really cute ribbon around them, I can't wait!

On Tuesday at college we gave each other our Secret Santa presents, Lucy got me and I got Lucy and I got some really, really lovely presents off her :)

I got a Paul & Joe make-up bag, nail file and nail varnish (which is in the most amazing colour ever) and I love it so much, I've got it on my toes at the minute but when I put it on my finger nails I'll be sure to take a picture.

Today I popped upto Superdrug to get some nail varnish remover so I could try my new things out and I ended up getting even more nail varnish, a nail glitter, a foundation and an eyebrow pencil too, oops.

I forgot to include the eyebrow pencil in the picture but it's just a cheapy one from Collection 2000, I really wanted the GOSH one I saw the other night in Superdrug but in the Metro store they only had the tester left and they didn't even sell them in the one close to home. I bought that foundation as I've bought it twice already and I always seem to go back to it, I've been having to mix my foundations again and they keep going really horrible on my skin and they're too dark so I'm keeping my Cliniqué and my MAC for holiday and using this until then.

This is what the Barry M nail varnish looks like with one of my nail wraps on my finger! I love them, and these nail wraps I got were SO much easier as you just stick them on rather than fiddling about with the hair dryer like the last ones I had.

Also when I'm shopping I'm looking for a dress to wear on Christmas day and an outfit to wear on Christmas eve when I go for a meal with my boyfriend family so if I find something I'll post about them considering I should have more free time now, I don't have too much college work to do over the holidays thankfully.

My room is packed full of my brothers presents all wrapped up so I really need to tidy my room and make myself some room to get about and sort my desk/make-up thing out ready for getting new stuff so I think that's tomorrows job. And I really hope it starts to snow properly soon, it keep snowing on and off lately apart from a couple of day last week when it snowed and stayed and I got to wear my wellies again, so fingers crossed for a white Christmas :)

Hello!

Again sorry for not posting in awhile, but I'm getting so excited for Christmas now!

My boyfriend has been off work pretty much all week so I've been spending most days with him, and on Thursday i got wrapped up and we went ice skating! I haven't been ice skating since I was in year 10 in secondary school and I was at Austria on a skiing trip so I was pretty nervous about it but I didn't fall down once (unlike my boyfriend) and it was so much fun :) Then we came home and watched Christmas films and we've been having a lazy week together. Also the day after ice skating I went home and my mam had put up our Christmas decorations!

We also have a green tree in the middle room that's all lit up and my mam will be setting up the table for Christmas soon I'm guessing. She always makes it look really pretty, and this year my boyfriend is coming for Christmas day/dinner and I'm so excited for him to come over and spend the day with me and my family. Urm I'll not bore you lot with college stuff but I have a little bit to do before I break up for Christmas and I need to get a present for my Secret Santa girl too. Oh and the other day I ordered some hair extensions and this is what they look like in;

I'd ordered the 18" and a 20" set came and I wasn't charged any extra money (as I'm guessing it was a mistake) but I really, really want to grow my hair this length one day. I've only wore them in my hair once and I took them out pretty much straight afterwards but I really want to wear them out one time. It's just I see so many girls wearing them where you can see the slips and they don't blend in with their hair well and I'm worried I'm going to look stupid with them in. I can get the front to blend well, just not the back so I need some practice and/or wear a hat (which worked well as then I knew you'd never be able to see the clips). But saying that I let my boyfriend wear my hat yesterday and he's stretched it with his big head so I need to buy a new one as it's now too big and baggy for my head :( I hope you all have a lovely weekend and are getting excited for Christmas too!

Hello,

i'm sorry i haven't posted in awhile but I haven't really been in the mood or had anything particularly interesting to post about lately. But yesterday was mine and my boyfriends year anniversary and I thought I should make a post about it on here.

We ended up giving each other our presents and cards on the Friday night instead of waiting until Saturday, but he bought me some lovely little flower stud earings from Pandora and a lovely card, and he liked his presents I gave him too thankfully. We decided to get food that night and went to pick his order up and called into his mams house and she gave us a "Happy anniversary" card and some chocolates! Yesterday we spent all morning in bed then when I eventually went home to get ready and showered we went to the Metro centre to have a meal and on the way back we drove to Hamsterley forest to light some lanterns for us;

We decided to go there as in the first week of getting to know Steven he drove me here one night and we had one of our first "proper" kisses here :3 The lanterns looked so lovely floating up into the sky and I had such a lovely day and this was the perfect way to end the night.

This year has absolutely flown over, and hopefully I'll be spending a lot more with Steven too.

Hello, today I ended up going to the Metro Centre, and it was so busy and there had been a crash so the bus went a really long way there and back and I was glad to get home. I went because I needed two folders for some projects at college, a box so I can fill it with little things for my boyfriend (It's our 1 year on November 12th! And we've agreed not to give Christmas presents because of our holiday coming up and stuff so I want to get him something for our 1 year instead) And he reads my blog too now, well he has the link at least and we pinky promised not to give Christmas presents but I didn't say anything about this occasion... :3 After getting what I needed I popped into Miss Selfridges and picked a set of earings up;

The Miss Selfridge in Metro links in with Topman, so I cut through Topman to go in but stopped at their jewellery section and saw an earing like this in there and I nearly bought it, so I'm glad I went next door and spotted these ones instead, and they were cheaper than having to buy two from Topman. I've been wanting some like this for ages and ages too, then I spotted this gorgeous thing;

And again like the earing above I've been wanting something like this for ages, I did want a silver ear cuff but it was longer and had crosses and I think a skull on but that was right next to the till just after I paid, but I still love this one, it's so pretty. Then I picked up some nail wraps. I've wanted to try them for awhile and I've been wanting the silver ones since I first seen them but they only had leopard print, gold or the black and white stripy ones which I choose to try out.

I'm going all in black for Halloween so I thought they'd go pretty well with my plain outfit and bat wings. You get 27 in a pack so I tried two of them out on both my ring fingers and I really like them.

I choose the wrong size so they don't fit right to the edge, but that's okay because I know for next time and they'll look perfect for Halloween! The instructions on the back are really simple to understand and it doesn't take long at all. I'm so excited to do all of my nails in them. Tomorrow my boyfriend is working away, so I'll be coming home from his at about 4am and might not see him tomorrow night. But I'm going to spend all of tomorrow doing my college work, even though I got quite a bit done yesterday and today and tidy my room. I think I might have a work placement sorted at The Stencil Library, so keep your fingers crossed for me. I finally feel organised and calm again :)

I'm sorry I haven't posted in awhile but I've been busy and just haven't really been in the mood to blog or take pictures, plus the fact I haven't really bought anything recently apart from a plain black dress, some bag wings and some rings but I'll post pictures of them another day when I do my Halloween post. I'm going out with the girls from college on Halloween night and if you hadn't guessed by the last sentence already I'm going as a little bat! I just really wanted to wear a plain black dress and a simple costume so that's what I've got. I need to look in H&M tomorrow again and see if they have the smaller size, but if not this one will be fine I'd just prefer if it was a little more fitted around my waist as it just makes me look like a bit of a rectangle. I haven't really done anything since I last posted other than get myself in a right state over college, finding works experience and trying to get everything organised. We're off next Monday so I'm going to sit down and write a tick list of everything I need to do just to get organised again. I finish college in May and I need to do 120 hours of work placement, a work placement folder, a CAD (computer aided design) project, my Geometric project which I'm just starting now and then another project after Christmas which I'll start late because I'll be going on holiday.

Oh I got a brand new iPhone 4! Okay not the super brand new one but the battery in mine decided to expand to TWICE the size it was meant to be and was pushing and front and back screens off so Apple replaced it straight away which I was so happy about! My old one had a chip in the top corner where it got dropped afew months after I bought it so it's nice to have a shiny new phone again.

Also even though I said I wouldn't, I bought a new foundation.

Illamasqua's Rich liquid foundation -115.

I had this last year around the same time, as I wore this foundation last Halloween and I looked back at the pictures from the year before and my skin looked really nice with it on so I bought it again. Plus as usual all my other foundations were looking too dark for my skin so I thought I could use this by itself or mix it in with another foundation to make it lighter. Now I tired to use it by itself and my god I'd forgot how thick and drying it is on your skin. I managed to get it on my skin with my GOSH duo fibre brush but it was too pale and clinged to dry spots like I don't know what so I had to take it all off again. I then mixed it in with my Cliniqué super balanced foundation and it was the perfect colour and felt really nice on my skin but it didn't sit very well on my face after afew hours but I didn't use the best powder to be fair, so I tried it with my MAC foundation and that worked better and gave me a nice colour. But I put false tan on the other day so I've been able to wear my MAC foundation by itself for the past two days, I think I'll be putting tan on for Halloween so MAC will by my foundation for the night.

I'm sorry for the quite rubbish post and the fact I've taken no pictures of anything today. I've sat in bed all day feeling really sick and worked up about things but I thought I best update this while I'm doing nothing. When I get some free time I'll do a good post with pictures and things too, I promise.

Hello, this is about my 10th attempt at trying to write this blog post as my internet kept freezing this morning and it was really frustrating! Over the past weekend and this week I've actually had a really nice few days. On Saturday me and my boyfriend went to TGI Fridays for the first time ever, well it was my first time going and I really enjoyed it. Usually we always go to the same places and I end up feeling guilty about it because I get nervous to try new foods or go new places incase I don't like anything on the menu, but I looked online before we went so I knew there was something I'd eat. We had mozzarella dippers to share then I had chicken fingers and chips, and then we shared a brownie and ice cream dessert for afterwards and it was so nice, it really filled me up for the whole day! Plus it made me even more excited to try the food when we go to America, I'm getting more and more excited about our holiday by the day.

Monday and Tuesday I had college and for both days I stayed in until 4pm and didn't go home early, since starting college again that's never happened but my boyfriend picked me up from town both days and I got to see him straight away which was really lovely :) I actually liked college this week, usually I get bored and end up just sitting there and doing no work until I get home but I got on with my work and now I have less to do for Monday and it's a nice feeling to not have to worry about doing loads over the weekend. I've also got more into my project lately too and I'm liking my work for the first time in awhile.

We have to create two wrapping paper designs and two cards that would be for Paperchase and they have to be hand made/drawn. I was dreading it at first but I've already done my final wrapping paper designs (the two A3 sheets of tracing paper in the picture) so I only have the cards left to do and my client board which I can do next week in college. We've also got to start thinking about work placements so I'm going to have to start asking around and e-mailing people around my area to see if they'll take me on, I need to do 120 hours by May to pass the module.

Any way enough of college stuff; Yesterday I had planned to have a lazy day and do nothing of importance but by 9am I was already bored out of my mind. I didn't want to do work because I wanted a day off so I ended up dying my hair, I hadn't planned to but it was looking a bit yellowy and I remembered I had an extra box of dye in my draws so I put it on.

I used the new XXL Live Salon Style dye in Frozen Pearl Blonde (Number 9-5) and left it on for 40 minutes. Before hand I'd been having to put quite abit of lilac dye into my conditioner to tone it and get rid of the yellow bits but then I was left with streaks of lilac, I did like it at first but I was getting sick of it and wanted it all blonde and that's what I got! I did use a Touch of silver shampoo on my hair for 5 minutes, then mixed my TRESemmé conditioner, John Frieda sheer blonde purple toning conditioner and a tiny little bit of the directions lilac hair dye together and left that on my hair for about five minutes and it's now the colour in the above picture. I'm really happy with how it's turned out, there's no lilac in my hair and it's really soft and shiny still. I'm still planning on growing it, not really long but long-ish, it'd help if I actually remembered to take my Sea Kelp tablets though.

Hello, sorry I haven't posted in awhile, blogging has been off my mind for awhile as I've been busy with college work and then having time off from doing that and just not doing anything at all. But today and the other day I've been shopping and bought a couple of things and I felt like I needed to write a blogpost so I thought I might as well show you lot. Oh and I've also had my hair cut properly as when I cut into it, it was all wonky and one side was longer than the other so now it's all shoulder length / a long bob.

I do quite like it but I've started to take my Sea Kelp tablets again so hopefully my hair will start to grow quicker again, fingers crossed. The other day while I was in H&M I bought this lovely long knitted cardigan;

I've had a really good day today. I had planned on going to the Metro Centre and text my friend to see if he wanted to go with me but he was busy, so I asked my parents for a lift to the big bus stand to get the bus and they said they were going into Newcastle so they'd drop me off on the way. But all the shops in the Metro are in Newcastle so I just went with them and had a look around by myself and got what I needed and then met up with them and we all went to Pizza Hut then I got a lift home again. We never do things like that so it was really lovely.

Also in the first picture above you can see some leopard print shoes that I bought from Dorothy Perkins, I've been wanting a pair like that for AGES but I wasn't so keen on the Topshop ones and there was a gorgeous pair in New Look but ever single time I went they never had my size, until today!!

I LOVE THEM SO MUCH.

I'm so glad I found them in my size! The ones from Dorothy Perkins are too big and I've only worn them in the house going from my bed room to the front door then I changed my shoes into my plain pink ballet type shoes (also bought from New Look the day I bought the cardigan) as they were slipping off my feet when I was walking down the stairs, resulting in me nearly falling head first down the stairs hence why I changed them and haven't put them on since. So I'm going to take them back to the shop on Friday or maybe Saturday and hopefully get my money back. Oh and I bought a black knitted jumper from H&M the other day too but it's in the wash at the minute, I'll get a picture next time.

Today I also finally got around to buying the Sleek face contouring kit too!

I've heard loads of good things about Sleek make-up and I've been wanting this little kit for ages but they've never had it in the Metro Superdrug so I bought it from the one in town today. It's amazing! It was only £7 and it's really good quality, and works so well.

The weather today has been so so hot! I'd heard about it going to be really warm today but usually they're wrong, but not today. I was boiling while walking around town today, but it was better than it raining I suppose and it's supposed to be like this for the rest of the week too.

Hello, today I stayed at home and done some college work, I was supposed to go into college today but I work so much better and quicker at home so I didn't go in today. Any way after doing some work I got a quick shower and headed upto Superdrug on the bus, my loan is coming in on Monday so I thought I'll buy a couple of things and treat myself then the rest will be spent on holiday things/to live on and the rest will be saved. I ended up buying a lovely pink lipstick by Rimmel;

I've been looking for a colour like this for ages, so I'm glad I spotted it today.

I also bought a small bottle of Bio-oil to try out, as I've heard alot of people saying how good it is on your skin and how it's helped clear up blemishes. I bought a St.Ives apricot face scrub the other day and I've used it once every day since I bought it and it's cleared my skin up SO much. My face feels super clean after using it, so I'm definitely going to keep up with using that every day because the results have been great. I also bought some Garnier face wipes to keep at my boyfriend house so I can get into the habit of taking my make-up off on a night time again, and a Brilliant 1 week tooth whitening kit to try out.

The other day while looking for my usual daisy stud earings I found my little rose earings again, I used to love these and never used to take them out so I'm pleased I found them again.

Also you can see my teeth here which never usually happens in photos, I hate smiling in pictures because of my teeth and they're the thing I'm most self concious about. Which is why I'm going to try out the tooth whitening home kit, I know my step dad has used it before and it worked really well on his teeth, I noticed straight away they were whiter and I thought he'd had them done properly, but then I saw the packaging in the bathroom cupboard aha. Fingers crossed it makes a difference to mine too, because if it does it'll definitely make a difference to my confidence.

I don't think I'll be doing much tonight, possibly tidy my room up, then see my boyfriend later but that'll be it.

Hello, sorry I haven't posted in awhile, I've been meaning to do for the past few days but I went back to college on Monday and now my life is like hell again and this is what my week and probably my weekend will consist of;

I don't like the course any better, I started the summer project before we went back then after wasting Monday and Tuesday in college I decided to change my theme so I'd wasted days doing work all for nothing! I'm only in college those two days which seems abit pointless but we got given home work for this week so as well as having to catch up and do the work I should have done over the holidays (I did do it, but need to re-do it all) I've just created even more work for myself. But never mind I'm actually nearly done, now I like my theme better I have more ideas and I'm enjoying doing the work. I'm kind of basing it on a British tea party, so cakes, teacups, teapots, flowers, kittens and puppys (Corgi dogs to link with the Queen). Here's some of the cat pictures I've drawn, I'm quite pleased with them. I'm usually always drawing with fine liners so I bought some new pencils and I've actually liked using them.

Now the rubbish college talk is out of the way I'll keep you up to date with what's been happening, even if it isn't much. In my last post I'd wrote about paying for the holiday, so now we only need our spending money and holiday clothes which I'll start buying once my student loan has gone through, and I posted about a pink mac coat from New Look that I was going to try on and I ended up getting it!

I tried it on with afew other dresses in the changing room, but they only had a size 6 and the rest were 12 and above. The six was slightly too tight around my chest but fits perfectly well around my waist but I put it back and had another look around the shop then asked one of the girls who worked there if they had any other sizes, she checked and even rang the Newcastle store but they didn't have any size 8's either so I left it and went around some other places. But I really, really, really wanted it and got myself in a right little mood about it so I went back and tried the 12 on which was too big and ended up picking the six up again and getting it. I just had to have it, it's perfect and I absolutely adore it, I think I'm going to change the buttons though. Other than the coat and new college things I haven't really been anywhere or bought anything new besides a new Rimmel nail varnish;

It was a bit of a waste of money because when I got home I noticed it's pretty much the exact same colour as my Barry M mint green one, but I love that colour so at least I now have a back up of it when that runs out.

Also in a past post I wrote about how I'd gone back to the blonde and lilac hair, well just after that I decided I wanted my hair blonder so I used another of the foam dyes, and that took all of the purple out of my hair and made my hair lighter, but it was still yellow (I was hoping it was going to turn a white blonde colour) But I quite liked it, the morning after though I woke up and the ends of my hair were all matted and straw like and I couldn't even get my fingers through it. So I went home, had a shower and I mixed some of the lilac dye into my conditioner and left that on for 15 minutes, then when brushing my hair through I decided to cut it. That is one of the reasons I don't like to leave scissors about my room because I always end up cutting my hair, thankfully it turned out okay! It's a bit wonky but I knew I wouldn't get it super straight, but I wear my hair curly/up in a pony tail or a bun most of the time so you can't really tell any way.

It's now shoulder length, and I can't wait for my fringe to be the same length as the rest of my hair. Hopefully it wont take much longer and will be the right length by the time I'm going on holiday! I also put more lilac dye in my hair on Wednesday by mixing it with my conditioner again as at college my hair looked yellow, but I've ran out so the next time I go to the Metro centre/Newcastle I'll have to get some, but it also tones my hair too so it's now yellow any more thankfully.

Also yesterday morning I applied false tan again, as all of my foundations, even the lightest one looked too dark on my skin and as soon as I got home from college on Monday and Tuesday I took it off straight away because I felt so silly wearing them because of the difference in colour. But with the tan on, my MAC foundation matches perfectly and I feel so much better. I came down stairs yesterday after doing my hair and make-up as my boyfriend was picking me up and my step dad complimented me about how nice my hair looked and how much I suited it which was lovely. Then I got into my boys car and he just kept staring and said I looked nice but that something was different, then came out with "Are you wearing MAC today? You're all one colour." Which was nice in one respect but it made it obvious that the colour difference between my skin and foundation really was more noticeable than I thought. Never mind though, it's all sorted and now I can wear my lovely MAC foundation with out looking silly, and I look healthier.

Today has gone so fast, this morning I've been looking online for jobs, then I done some college work, had a shower, had a quick phone call with my boyfriend and then I made some time to write this post. I still have about 4 pages left to do over the weekend, my parents and brothers are going to Leeds because it's my cousins birthday so I'll have the house to myself to get on with my work. Well I think my boyfriend is coming over and we're going to make brownies but if I set my work out on the dining room table I can do the rest of the work while they're cooking or while my boyfriend goes to the gym, which I'm sure he'll be doing at some point over the weekend so I will have time to do it all.

Hello!

THE HOLIDAY IS BOOKED AND PAID FOR AND I'M SO EXCITED AND I CAN'T WAIT!

Ok so yesterday with staying at my boyfriends house the alarm went off at 6am, usually I'll curl back into a ball and drift in and out of sleep until about half past when we actually have to get out of bed and another alarm goes off at that time. But yesterday I was wide awake, got out of bed straight away and took a picture of the sky. It just looked SO pretty and cute and the colours were lovely, it's just a rubbish picture taken from my iPhone but it's just so lovely.

(It's also now my desktop background on my laptop too!)

I'd been texting my friend Mark the day before and he asked me if I wanted to go to the Metro for a look around, so I just ended up staying awake when i got dropped off at home and wasted afew hours on my laptop until I had to get ready to meet him on the bus. We went for some food and a look around the shops but nothing really took my fancy, apart from a pink mac-like coat from New Look but I didn't try it on because I wasn't keen on the buttons. But the more I thought about it I could always just buy buttons myself and change them, tomorrow morning I have a doctors appointment at 9am so I'm going to go to the Metro afterwards and try the coat on! I just really want a winter coat and some boots but i can't find any I really, really like which is annoying. But we did pop into one of my favourite shops ever, Paperchase, and I ended up buying a new case for my iPhone as my other one had snapped.

I didn't really do much when I got home apart from read afew blogs and sit on the laptop for awhile until my boyfriend got home from work. Then we made our way to the Metro and we sorted the holiday out and paid it all off! We fly to Orlando Florida on the 29th February at 10:25am! All of the other details that were written down last night are going to be emailed to my boyfriend today so we know what's going on. Aw I'm so excited, I couldn't stop smiling afterwards, it's going to be amazing! Oh and on the way out I went into Paperchase again and bought two cute pens and a lovely pink plain page notebook, I'm back into my cute pink/pastel colours again for some reason (and the pink gel pen smells like bubble gum! I haven't had a smelly gel pen since I was like 11 and every kid in primary school had them)

Today I'm going to get ready once my brothers have gone to school and I'm going to see my Grandma, I haven't seen her in weeks due to getting up late/going to the Metro/having to look after my brothers and I'm back to college on Monday so I really need to see her today.

The lilac(ish) hair is back already!

Hello, the title of the post kinda gives this away but I couldn't stand the dark hair so I had to put my hair through some stress again today but I'm very happy with the results!

This time my hair hasn't got lilac all over and hasn't gone grey. It's actually blonde with tiny hints of lilac at the front section. First I had to bleach it with the Live XXL platinum which again my hair was bright orange and my roots bright yellow/white, I dried that and then applied a hair dye I've never used before; John Frieda light ash blonde 9A foam dye which took quite a lot of the orange colouring out of my hair. It's so good and you get loads of foam in the bottle, I'd really recommend it. I also bought the John Frieda purple toning shampoo and conditioner. I used the shampoo three times, first on my orange hair, second when washing the foam hair dye out, then while I was in the shower I mixed a tiny little bit of the lilac dye in with the lilac conditioner and left that on for about 10 minutes (my roots/front bit were still a bit orange compared to the rest of my hair so I didn't apply it all over) then I used the purple shampoo to wash that all out, then used the conditioner you get with the John Frieda dye for about 10 minutes and I had new hair.

The blonde bits of my hair are still a bit yellowy so next time I wash my hair, probably Friday to give my hair a rest, I'll mix the lilac dye in with the conditioner again and put it all over my hair but only leave it on for about 5- 10 minutes and it should take the yellow colours out of my hair with out leaving too much lilac colour. I'm going to have a little trim of my hair just to get the really bad ends off, but other than that my hair condition isn't half as bad as it was when I went to the hair dressers!

Now I really am going to leave my hair alone for awhile, for a start I'm saving for my holiday so I can't really afford to buy hair dye incase I do it and it messes up again (So if I want my hair done in a month or two I'll definitely be going to the hair dressers to get it done when my roots are bad. But I'll be going to a different hair dressers to the one I went too last time...)

Other than doing my hair today I've been looking after my brother and I popped up to the bank while he went to my Nannas for dinner and I transferred the holiday money into my boyfriends account so we're going to pay for the holiday asap! I've been applying for afew jobs this past week, a couple are only Christmas temps but it'd be better than nothing, so fingers crossed I hear something back :)

Hello, urm the lilac hair didn't last very long, not even 24 hours in fact so now I'm back to dark hair.

At first I did like the lilac, but the photos from the last post made it look so much nicer than it actually did in person. The next day I went for food with Becky and it just didn't look very nice and made me feel abit self concious and was just really horrible looking.

Admittedly the dye has came out much darker than I was expecting it too, so I'm waiting a week/two and using lots of conditioner and leaving my hair to dry naturally and tying it up all the time then I'm going to have to bleach it again and put a medium/light brown dye over that because that's the only way I can lighten it with out paying a fortune at the hair dressers. But apart from having too dark hair (which I'm getting used to, it's okay but it's weird being THAT dark again when I was just expecting it to go light brown...) I do have some great news, I might be going on holiday in February!!

Me and my boyfriend had been thinking about it for a little while and had been getting some holiday brochures and looking through them, and last night we went to the Metro Centre and into House of Fraser and to the Virgin section and spoke to a really helpful lady about our options. We'd kinda decided on the Bahamas, and to go to Paradise Island (particularly Nassau, the Atlantis resort to go to the water park) and after going over afew options we mentioned we'd been thinking about going on a cruise. So she pulled up some information and I think we've decided on a plan!

** 29th February - Fly from Manchester - Orlando Florida (Stay for 3 nights and possibly go to a theme park on one of the days) - Travel down to Fort Lauderdale - Cruise (7 nights) Around the Bahamas and stops off at three different places, one being Paradise Island where we plan to go to Atlantis for the day and the other days are spend on board the ship and it's all inclusive - Back to Fort Lauderdale - Back to Orlando Florida (Stay another 4 nights) - Fly back to Manchester - Travel back home all for a really, really amazing price! **

We haven't booked it yet but I'm pretty certain it's going to go ahead, so I'm so excited and I can't wait!

Only thing is I'm now in savings mode, so I really doubt there's be any good posts coming up about things I've bought or done because I don't want to spend any money on things I don't need. Apart from holiday clothes which once it's booked and we know we're going for sure I'll start buying them because the winter clothes are coming in and I might get the summer stuff a little cheaper, fingers crossed any way. Today I'm doing nothing but looking after my brothers then seeing my boyfriend later, tomorrow I'm looking after my brothers ALL day but I plan to clear the dining room table and do all of my college work in one day. I've been putting it off all the time but I go back next Monday so it needs to be done.

Hello lovlies, today I decided to dye my hair lilac, well I didn't make the decision just out of the blue as I've been wanting to do it for ages and I've had the dye for ages too but I finally got around to doing it today :)

I first had to bleach it and I used the Live XXL Absolute platinum which turned my hair a bright orange/yellow colour which I expected any way and had that on for 40 minutes, then I used the Directions white toner for 15 minutes which didn't really do anything to my hair, then used the Directions Lilac dye for half an hour and it came out like this;

It's basically got a tint of lilac all over the hair, but it's toned my hair too so it's gone a grey/white/lilac colour (with some bits of my other hair colour that I've missed, but that's under my hair and you can't really see them so it's fine!) I was really worried about bleaching it because it was pretty damaged awhile ago but it actually feels really soft and shiny which I'm pleased about :) I still have another tub so I'm going to mix a little bit in with my conditioner to keep the colour topped up as it's only semi-permanent.

Also I've been waiting in all day because yesterday I ordered some MAC make-up!

They've just arrived as I was starting to write this post, I got the Studio Fix Fluid in NC15 and a mineralised skin finish in soft and gentle. I'm going to take my foundation I was wearing before and in the pictures above off and try out my new one :)

Tomorrow I'm meeting Becky at the Metro Centre and we're going for dinner which will be nice as I haven't seen her in ages! Then me and my boyfriend are having a weekend in as we're planning on going on holiday next year so we need to save up our pennies :)

** EDIT - I've just used the foundation and oh my god it's AMAZING! I only needed a tiny little bit and I used my GOSH duo fibre brush to apply it and it's gone on perfectly and matches my skin, and the skin finish is a perfect high lighter! I'm so pleased with both of them!!**

Hello, sorry I haven't posted in afew days but I've been pretty busy and I've had such an amazing long weekend. My boyfriend decided to take a little break from work and was off from last Thursday and is back to work today and we spent the whole weekend together. We've had a couple of trips to the Metro Centre, Ikea, Nandos and the cinema and on Saturday we travelled down to York, stayed over in a really nice hotel and went to Flamingo Land on Sunday!

I don't want to make this too long because I'll ramble on for ages but the hotel was lovely and in our room we had a bay window with cushions around the window ledge so we could sit on them. Flamingo Land wasn't as great as I remembered as I hadn't been since I was a little kid but it was still really fun :)

After looking at the animals and going on the rides we had dinner in a little american diner and pretty much headed home just after this as it was starting to cloud over and looked like it was going to rain.

Today I ended up going to the Metro Centre for a look around, we did go yesterday but I only bought a new moisturiser and we came home after that so I went back for a proper look by myself.

Also while looking in the Topshop sale (which I usually avoid) I found this maxi skirt for £20, then when it went though the till it was only £15! It's exactly the same as my coral coloured one just a different colour and it was a size 6 instead of an 8 like the other one but it fits better around my waist so I'm very happy! I'd looked around afew other shops but nothing really took my fancy so I popped into Republic, a shop I hardly ever go into and picked up a Soul Cal hoodie in a size 14 and bought myself that. I did have it in mind that I wanted a really baggy jumper to wear around the house and for college on the cold/rainy mornings so I'm happy with that too. I have it on now and it's so cosy and warm, I never want to take it off!

Hello again, usually I don't post twice in one day but i got a text off my boyfriend to say he's having to stay over and work at the place tomorrow so I'm staying at home for the first night in awhile so I have more time on my hands yet again. After getting the text I got changed into my Christmas onsie and re painted my nails;

I've seen quite afew pictures on tumblr with nails like this and I think I might as well give it a try. I quite like it and it was SO easy and quick to do, and I don't mind the colours I used but I'm sure I could find some nicer ones that go together better next time.

Just as I was painting my nails my mam came into my room holding a leather skirt, she'd been looking through the magazines I've been buying and noticed that alot of people seem to be wearing them and she said she spotted this one in a charity shop for £1 so she got it for me.

It's a little bit too big for me and about an inch longer than I would like but I don't mind it. I'm not sure if I'll ever wear it but for £1 I'm glad my mam bought it as I'd seen one in H&M the other day that I was going to try on.

It's all bunched up at the top because it's big at the waist and because of the belt. It's not something I would buy myself but for £1 I can give it a try and even if I take it up and I don't like it any better it's no big deal. It looks really nice with my pinky coloured shirt too, but that's sleeveless I'd prefer a long or a 3/4 sleeved top with this just to cover up abit. When I think about leather skirts I automatically think of the saying "Mutton dressed as lamb" but they do seem quite popular lately...

What do you think, yes or no to the skirt?

Hello, on Saturday with my boyfriend not having a car we managed to get a lift to the Metro and we went to see the Inbetweeners movie, had Nando's for dinner, bought a huge mix up and then we went and had three waffles covered in chocolate sauce, chocolate ice cream and chocolate chips! I was so full by the end of the day but I had a really nice time. I was a little disappointed with the film though, it wasn't as funny as I was expecting or as funny as every one else had made it out to be but I'm still glad I've seen it. We had a lazy day on Sunday, but yesterday I went to the Metro with Mark and had a nice time. I didn't buy any thing but a magazine and a bottle of Ribena, and I only tried one pair of shorts on and they didn't look nice/were too short and nothing else caught my eye. But I did like my outfit I had on, I'd gone shopping in the mind set that I was going to buy something for the night out at the beginning of next month, but there's really nothing I fancied wearing and nothing I felt nice in. So I'm thinking about wearing this outfit, but with high heels and maybe my 3/4 sleeved black body instead of the strapless one.

Lately it's one of the only outfits I feel quite nice in, or there's my pale orange with grey small butterfly print dress from Zara I'm thinking about wearing. I just really don't want to buy anything new that I wont wear again. I felt really pale yesterday and with all of my jeans being in the wash it was nice to wear the maxi skirt because my legs were hidden but it was warm outside so I didn't get hot having to wear tights. When I got home I went straight around to my boyfriends house and we ended up walking to the shop, and on the way up I took my jacket off and he called me Casper because of how pale I am. Now I know he was joking, and even I commented on how pale I was looking just the day before but I actually got a little bit upset about it. I don't tan at all, and even the palest foundation I own I'm still paranoid that I look orange. But saying that today I've put fake tan on again this morning, I don't particularly like wearing it, but I do think it makes me look better and makes me look less ill so in that respect I don't mind it. And I'd never go on a sun bed so it's really the only option. I know it's not something I'd keep up with, but it's nice to have a little "pick me up" once in awhile.

For the rest of the day I plan to get on with my college work, my boyfriend is working down Hull today and might not be back until tomorrow, or at the earliest late tonight so I'll have plenty of time to get a couple of pages done with out any distractions of wanting to go and see him asap! College work is all I really have planned for the rest of the week, how exciting.

Hello, today I eventually got my new glasses!

It's kind of odd seeing myself wearing them, and especially since they're dark frames as I've got used to wearing my red ones.

But I do quite like them, plus I'll only be wearing them in the house so it doesn't really matter!

After picking them up I popped into Superdrug which is next door, and was really good and only bought one thing from there which never usually happens.

I've seen so, so many people blog about/use this kind of duo fibre brush in make-up tutorials and I've been dying to get my hands on one to try out. But they were all using expensive ones and I spotted this one while I was there for £10 so I picked it up. I was going to take my foundation off and re-do it to with that brush to try it out but I can wait until tomorrow instead. I don't have anything interesting to blog about today so it's just a quick and short one for now.

Hello lovelies, on Sunday night we had to give little kitten Forest away, with my boyfriend going into work on Monday and me not being allowed to keep him in my house he had to stay at my boyfriends mams house Sunday night and during the day yesterday, and after work me and my boyfriend took him back to the shop. I cried so, so much on Sunday it was silly, but I'm glad I had my big cry then because I wasn't so bad yesterday when we dropped him off at the pet shop :(

Look how cute he was on Saturday night, he fell asleep on my laptop and inbetween my legs.

Awh it makes me sad looking at the pictures of him, little Forest was the best ever.

During the day yesterday I popped to the Metro Centre because I got a letter from college saying we have a summer project to start, it would have been better if they'd sent this out earlier but we only have to do 6 pages of drawing in an A3 sketchbook by the 12th September so it's not too bad. So I went into Paperchase and bought myself a new sketchbook, a little note pad to write down ideas ect and a cute pen that writes in pink and pale blue ink!

The way I've read the brief is that we get to choose our own theme, well I think so any way but we can use Asia as a starting point if we like. I have afew ideas jotted down already so I'll have a think and see what is the best one to base my whole project around. I'm still kind of dreading going back to college but it's nice to have something to do and get back into.

Hello little Forest

Hello, today I've been out all day looking at cars with my boyfriend as he's been wanting one for ages, and eventually he bought one! It's really nice and he's getting it next weekend and I can't wait to go for drives in it.

Then we got home for about half an hour and we were looking through the yellow pages and we went back to looking at the pages with kittens advertised and ended up ringing one of the numbers up and they had some left so we went to see them. When we got there, there was quite a few left and my boyfriend told me to pick one to have! I ended up picking this adorable little black one, there was three other black ones but this was the smallest of them all.

We named him Forest, but now I've brought him home I think I'm going to have to give him away already. My mam is at York for the day and I text her to let her know I had one so she didn't get a shock when she saw it, and she rang back and was pretty angry and said she'd speak to me about it tomorrow - which isn't a good sign. Then my step dad came home and I showed him and one of my brothers and again he said it's not allowed to stay in the house and I have to take it back to my boyfriends house. The plan was to have it stay at my boyfriends house, like sleep there but during the day while he's at work I would bring it to my house to look after it until it's old enough to be let outside. But now that doesn't look like it's going to happen, so I think we're going to have to give it to my boyfriends mam (we called in on the way home and she loved it and has had cats/wants another) or it could stay at my boyfriends house all of the time, but I don't want to leave it on it's own pretty much all day.

I really don't know what's going to happen with little Forest, but I'm gutted and have already had afew tears over it as it hasn't been in the house an hour and my step dad has told me three times it can't stay here and my mam has said it too. I've wanted a kitten for so, so long and now I have it, it's going to be taken away from me already :( Right now it's curled up on my thighs fast asleep, it's so so tiny and cute and this is like the fourth time it's fallen asleep on me since we got it home/to my boyfriend house. My boyfriend has gone out with his friends and I was supposed to go too but with getting the kitten I didn't want to leave it alone, so he wont be home until midnight and I'll have to take it back to his house when he's home, then I'll see what we're going to do tomorrow.

Hello, yet again today I haven't really done much, yesterday I went to the Metro but only ended up getting a new face scrub, face wipes, some magazines and a new nail polish. It was so busy that you could hardly even move, I tried afew different items of clothing on but nothing looked right.

On Wednesday I went to a new opticians to have an eye test as I haven't had one since I was in year 10 or 11 so that's about 3/4 years ago. My eyes have been fine but I really wanted some new glasses as my main pair that I got those few years ago broke and I've been using my spare "Ugly Betty" ones since (They're red and remind me of her glasses). And I thought I might as well get an eye test done while I was there, and it's a good job I did because my eyes have got better! I'm supposed to wear glasses all day every day but during primary and secondary school comments were made about them and I've always hated wearing them so when I got into year 10/year 11 I stopped wearing them. I wore them during some lessons, my exams and wore them all the time at home, but out in public I felt more confident with out them on so I just got used to wearing them in the house. The reason I hadn't been to the opticians in so long is because the last time I went the man could obviously tell I hadn't been wearing them because my eyes had got better and he was just really horrible and sharp and just not very nice towards me at all. He said I needed to wear them all the time and it was just the way he was speaking to me that was awful, and it was the first time I'd gone in for my test with out my mam being in the room so I felt pretty intimidated and after that I never went back incase I got him again. But I had a lovely lady this time, and she told me my eyes have got better and that as long as I'm not getting head aches that I can continue to wear them just in the house while I'm watching TV or on my laptop! And she changed my prescription too because the ones I have now are too high and I don't need as much "help" any more. Then I picked some new frames and ended up getting the ones I first picked up, they're pretty simple and plain but I didn't want to spend a fortune on something only me and my family/boyfriend will see. I have to go and pick them up next Friday and I'm actually really looking forward to getting them as I actually like them. I'll probably do a post about them once I get them to show you all, not that you'll really care but never mind.

Like I said today I haven't done much at all, I stayed awake this morning after getting dropped off by my boyfriend this morning so I've been up since 6am and today is dragging so badly! I had to look after one brother for about half an hour while my mam popped out this morning but that's all I've done really. I've spent most of the day feeling really rubbish which resulted in having a shower and doing my hair and make-up "properly" to end up hating how it turned out, my skin is SO bad again that I feel like I'm piling the foundation and concealer on and I hate it.

So I took all of my make-up off, re-done it and used the Maybelline New York gel eye liner too. I seriously can't recommend the gel eye liner enough, it's actually amazing and doesn't budge at all! I think I'm just having one of those weeks, my skin has gone bad and I'm all bloated and feel horrible in everything I put on so today I've pulled on an old 3/4 sleeved black maxi dress and shoved that jumper on over the top to keep me warm.

Today me and my boyfriend have been together 9 months :) It's flown over! I'm not sure what we're doing tonight but tomorrow we're going out to see one of his friends try and do/beat a world record by doing something on his bike (I'm not really sure what's happening) then we're going to look at cars and fingers crossed he finds a nice one this weekend, then afterwards we're going to Nando's for tea/late dinner. It should be nice but we're going to be outdoors most of the day so I'm hoping it's not going to be raining because I don't really have any suitable clothes for rain...

My mam has just dropped of a pile of clean clothes in my room so I best tidy them away and put my other stuff in the washer. Also all of that junk stuff that was in my room has eventually been taken to the shed, my room is tidy and clean again.

Hello, I wasn't planning on blogging today as I was going to spend the day in bed wearing my PJ's as it was freezing cold this morning but after a lovely warm bath I feel better and have more energy. As soon as my mam gets in I'm finally moving all of my crap out of my room and into the shed, I can't wait to have my room back!

Urm after buying my new ring yesterday I really fancied doing the "space nails" again which I haven't done since last winter time just with it being all dark colours and thing, but I love Autumn/Winter and I'm slowly starting to wear my darker coloured clothes again.

I'm a little bit rusty and they didn't exactly go how I wanted them too as the sponge I used was rubbish but I'm in love with glitter nail varnish lately so I put a tone of that on to make them look pretty and sparkly.

It's so, so easy to do all you need is nail varnish colours of your choice (dark colours do tend to look better though) and a sponge and you just dab the different colours on top of your base colour and then put glitter varnish on top to make it look like little clusters of stars. I used seven different ones along with a tiny dusting of a gold glitter eye shadow I got in my Fearne Cotton make-up set and then just put a clear coat over the top of it all.

Hello again, today I ended up going to the Metro with my mam, I hadn't planned to but as I was going into the bathroom I noticed my mam was getting ready and I thought she was back to work today but it turns out she wasn't, obviously, so I got a super quick shower and we went to the Metro Centre together.

Before I show you lot what I got today if you've read the post just before this one you'll have read that I got my ear pierced while I was at Leeds and here's a picture of it. Also I bought the gold triangle earings from Matalan on the way home today for only 50p! I looked all over the different shops at the Metro today for some exactly like it so I couldn't believe it when I saw these ones in the sale :)

I went into H&M and spotted this dress I keep picking up so I decided to get it.

The belt I'm wearing with it is from Topshop which I bought ages ago, and I have two odd shoes on because I'm not sure which ones to wear with it if I go out next weekend, help? I bought a new nail varnish from H&M too called "Soaked in purple" and I love it!

That is only one coat of the nail varnish and it looks better with two on but I think it's such a pretty colour and I've been wanting to try out a nail varnish from H&M for ages. The ring is from Oasis and I LOVE IT, I never usually go into that shop but I'm so glad I did. I think it's so beautiful and pretty and I want to wear it all of the time.

Then I went into River Island which I usually tend to avoid too but I spotted this jumper and it's slightly like my green Jack Wills one I got two Christmases ago and I've started wearing ti again and this is a much cheaper option and I love the colour of it too.

Over all I've had a really nice day, and now I'm getting ready to go back to the Metro as my boyfriend is wanting to go for something so I'm waiting for his to get home from work then I'm off out again. I think I'm going to wear my new jumper, earings and probably my jeans with them.

Leeds weekend!

Hello, yesterday I got home from my little weekend at Leeds, I had a lovely time but we didn't end up going to Robin Hoods bay so maybe I can show my boyfriend that place another time. On the Friday when we got there the park was closed to we had a play in the play park (yes I'm 19 and he's 24 but still we had it to ourselves!) Then we went on a walk around the grounds too and I took some pictures.

On the Saturday instead of going to Robin Hoods Bay me and my boyfriend ended up driving the car to the train station and got the train into Leeds to go shopping and get something to eat. It's huge but we didn't get lost, took us awhile to find Topshop but when we did they were giving away frozen yoghurt from this van!

After looking around the shops for a little while we found a Nando's (which took ages to find...) had something to eat then I decided I wanted to get my ear pierced so we asked a girl who worked in this cute little old fashioned sweet shop and she told us where to go. I ended up getting my rook pierced and then Steven had been in touch with his friend who lives near Leeds and who he doesn't see much so we met up with him, went to McDonalds where we got ice cream, had a look around afew other places and then got the train back again. I've been wanting to go shopping to Leeds for ages so I'm glad we went there instead, plus everyone came home from Robin Hoods bay soaking as it'd been raining really badly there! On the night we got some Chinese food (plain boiled rice for me) and watched Harry Potter, we came home pretty much as soon as we got up and dressed on Sunday then had a pretty lazy day watching films in bed.

Today I've been to the Metro with my mam so I'll be writing another post just after this, I just didn't want to make a really long one.

Hello, if you read my last post you'll know I was going to get my hair cut yesterday so I thought I'd show you the results;

You can see the colour of my hair better here and see how the ends are lighter than the top, and sorry for my unhappy looking face! This was just before I went out (Steven rang just after I took this) so it was just a quick photo because I was wanting a picture before I ended up tying it up.

I ended up having to get more than I was expecting cut off, and I didn't get as many layers as I was initially wanting cut in and even after she'd washed my hair and my hair was still wet she could tell my hair was really dry which just shows how bad my hair is at the minute. But it already feels so much healthier and they used a new hair oil they're trying out on my hair and it's amazing so I'm going to go back down and buy a bottle for myself. She also said I need to use some intensive conditioners on my hair to try and stop it being so dry and I bought some hot oil's the other day so I'll use them up and buy another tub of hair mask to use too.

The ends are still lighter than the top and I'm just so happy with it! I really love this length and I'm definitely wanting to keep it like this for awhile. I got it cut in a middle parting and the hair dresser straightened it super straight for me so at first I hated it, but as soon as I got home I washed my fringe and blow dried and styled that myself and then curled my hair and used the VO5 texture powder and I loved it! I can still get it up in a messy bun and she only took the very ends off my fringe so that is still long enough to go into my bobble when I tie my hair up.

After coming home and doing my hair myself I came downstairs to find my parents and brothers were home, I didn't see them for long as I went out soon after but last night while I was at my boyfriends my mam rang and said my Aunty had asked them if they'd like to stay at her house tonight and then go to their other house at Robin Hoods bay tomorrow night and my aunty had asked if me and Steven would like to stay too. I haven't seen my aunty in awhile and I love both of her houses and where they are, they're two of my favourite places, Steven had already said he was going out on his bike both Saturday and Sunday so at first I said we wouldn't be going but he said he'd like to go so tonight I'm off to Leeds and tomorrow I'm off to Robin Hoods bay for the day! Me and Steven are travelling down in his car and I'm not sure what time we'll be setting off as we might just meet my parents down there as he wont be home from work until about 5pm and I think they'd like to go earlier but we have Google maps on our iPhones and we managed to get to Alton Towers by using it so we'll have no problems if that's what we end up doing :) It's now 9am and I've been awake since 5:30am because I was already planning what to take with me in my head! I got in my house at 6:30am and I applied my tan straight away (I'm going to wear a dress today and I'm looking extra pale lately) and set out my outfits I think I'm going to be wearing over the weekend and wrote a list of everything I'm taking to tick off as I pack it. I'm planning on doing another post later today with pictures of my outfits and stuff but I can't wash my tan off until 11am so it'll be some time after that so I can do it while I'm packing. I'm so excited to go and I've been wanting to show Steven both places for ages now so I'm really happy we're going, I hope the weather is nice all weekend!

Hello, today I haven't done much at all as usual, but I finally got around to making a hair appointment so I'm getting it cut on Thursday afternoon at 2pm! I'm not quite sure how much will need to be taken off yet, but because I no longer want my hair long I'm not too bothered as long as I can still tie it up, and I'll be getting layers in my hair which I haven't had for years. The pictures I posted yesterday don't really show the true colour of how dark my hair is, as it still looks quite light in the pictures but it's definitely a dark brown!

So now I'm looking at different hair styles and every time I have brown hair I always seem to go back to liking Alexa Chung again. I'd still like my hair to have the ombre look to it but I'll do that after I've had it cut and wait awhile until it's back in silky smooth condition again.

I hate hair that is super straight and looks like it's been done, I much prefer the messy look which I think Alexa always gets perfect. I hardly ever straighten my hair and pretty much always curl it or just tie it up if I don't have enough time to do that. This is the length I'm willing to go to because I think if I go any shorter I wont be able to tie it up in a messy bun or anything with out having to use loads of bobby pins to keep it in place. I'm not sure whether to get it cut in a middle parting or as a side one as I'm still in the middle of growing my fringe out but I'll take this picture to the hair dressers and see what they think. And I'll ask them if they can curl my hair or just dry it and I'll style it when I get home because they always straighten it for me and I end up going home and curling it myself. But this is pretty much what my hair looks like now except mine is abit longer and the light colour isn't as far up my hair, but it will be once it's cut!

Sorry for talking about my hair all of the time, it's just I'm still trying to find a hair cut and colour I'm really happy with. Anyway tonight me and my boyfriend are going food shopping as there's nothing in my house to eat during the day and my parents are back on Thursday so I best get some food in the house. And we're going to buy something so we can cook together tonight and make tea for us both which will be lovely :) I'm not sure what we're going to make yet but we'll decide later on. Tomorrow I plan to do the washing and ironing and hoover and clean the house so I wont have to rush about doing it on Thursday morning, then the family should arrive home on the evening. It's been really nice having the house to myself and having my boyfriend come over after the gym rather than just going straight to his house, I feel like my parents and brothers can be pretty full on and I prefer to be out of the house but the past two/three days have been really nice.

Also I've just gone through all of my past posts and replied to the comments that have been left on them. I really do love reading all of the lovely comments you all write on here so I really am going to keep on top of them and reply to you all!

Hello, now I know I said I wouldn't but I did, so now I have brown hair again.

I didn't put any dye on the very ends of my hair as I wanted to try and keep them lighter, like the dip dye/ombre look but it didn't work as well as I'd of liked it too but never mind.

I also bought some hot oil treatment and some really rich shampoo and conditioner because my hair is in an pretty awful state. I wish I'd never tried to go blonde but at least I know not to do that again and not to ever go red again (even though I was extremely tempted to get the red hair dye today but I know how awful it is to get out of your hair...) I'm pretty sure my hair dresser is going to hate me as every time I've been I've had a different hair colour, but I don't go often because I always get scared they're going to have to cut alot off. But this time I know it needs cutting and I need layers cut in as well because my hair is pretty much all one length at the minute and it looks really flat. I've made a promise to myself that I'll book an appointment tomorrow because it really needs done no matter how much they have to take off!

Yesterday my parents went away to Scotland until Thursday night so it was nice to have the house to myself yesterday and today. Apart from they took all of the food with them and didn't leave me anything so it's a case of going to the little shop when I'm hungry or going to my Nannas which I'll probably do tomorrow. But i had a lovely weekend and spent all of it with my boyfriend which was so lovely :)

Hello, I'm finally feeling better and have my appetite back which is great because I feel like I have more energy and don't feel as groggy any more. So after lazing about in bed this morning I decided to get dressed around dinner time and then headed for the Metro Centre. I did go in the hope of finding some new flat shoes and an A4 notebook/sketch book but when I got there it was way too busy and I only ended up looking around afew shops and came home with a new pair of jeans and a jumper that'll see me through winter too.

Both the jeans and the jumper are from Miss Selfridge and since I bought my high waisted jeans from there over a month ago I've been dying to find another pair similar to them but with out the hight waist and I saw these today. I never used to wear jeans and pretty much used to live in tights with shorts/skirts/dresses even in the winter months but I really like wearing them now. They're so easy to just pull on with a t-shirt and they don't look all done up and fancy, just nice and simple. But my legs always look better when I wear them with high heels, times like this I wish I was one of those girls who did wear high heels on a daily basis because most of my outfits look better with them, never mind though they still look nice with flat shoes too!

I wasn't sure if I erally wanted to get the jumper or not when I first saw it but I spent ages in the changing room wearing it and deciding what to do and I think if I didn't buy it, it would of been one of those things that I would have regretted not getting. Because of the flash it does look see through but "in real life" you can't actually see your bra underneath it, but it is a cropped jumper so I'm sure during winter I'll be wearing a vest top/t-shirt of some sort underneath it. It's all sparkly and has tiny little sequins on it, so happy I saw it :)

Also in regards to the products I bought the other day, I love the Go blonder spray and it really has made a difference and I'd totally recommend it, where as I'm not so keen on the VO5 texture powder. I think it makes my hair feel unclean (I used it again today) so I'm not a big fan but I don't think I'll stop using it because it does give texture and more volume to my hair. Plus today I straightened my hair for the first time in over a month and it's longer than I thought, and I despise super straight hair so I put some of the powder in and ruffed it up a bit and it looked nice.

Tomorrow I'm going to visit my Grandma because I haven't seen her in ages and ages! I'll be having beans on toast for dinner while watching Loose Women and having a little catch up with her too so that'll be nice. But I'll have to remember to stay awake in the morning instead of going back to bed and sleeping in.

P.S -I'm sorry for the state of my room in the top picture, which is why I had to do the mirrored effect because it's a tip. I still need to take all of the things I don't want or need any more out of my room because they've been piled up for weeks now.

Hello, I've seen afew people do a post like this lately and I actually enjoy reading them so I thought I'd do one of my own, I've been meaning to do it for awhile actually. The bag I've been using for about a year now is my Mulberry Alexa which I adore. I was never and I'm still not really a bag girl and I'll never spend that much on a bag again but I'd wanted it for ages so with some money I inherited I bought it just after my 18th birthday.

I've used it pretty much every single day since getting it and I've only bought one other bag since buying the Alexa (a little black one from Topshop because I needed it for the wedding I went too). I remember being really scared and panicking just after I bought it because of the amount of money it was but now I don't regret it one bit. I know I'll keep it forever and use it all of the time!

I don't really tend to carry much stuff around with me, and I always have room in my Alexa for a bottle of water and other bits I might buy during the day. As long as I have my purse, phone, bus card, house keys and a fully charged iPod with me I'm fine. I don't usually carry earings around with me but they were there from when I stayed at my boyfriends and I'd taken them out on a night time and put them in there so I didn't forget them.

My cold seems to have gotten worse and the painkillers are doing nothing for my bad head at all, I was planning on going upto the shops to get something for my cold but I've just sat in bed pretty much all day. I have put my clothes away and taken the rubbish out, oh and applied fake tan but apart from that I've been really lazy as usual. I've been looking online for a job and there's afew I'd maybe like to apply too but we'll wait and see, I'm just bored of having nothing to do during the day. For the rest of the day I'm going to get a shower and then get dressed ready to see my boyfriend later.

Hello, today I hit 200 followers on here, might not seem much in comparison to loads of other blogs but it's nice to know that people actually want to read what I have to say. Yesterday I ended up going to the Metro Centre for afew hours with Mark, we haven't seen each other on a weekend since about year 10 or year 11 when me, him and my other friend from school used to meet up on a Saturday and go for the day to get food and shop. So it was a bit strange and it felt like a week day, but it was so so busy and I just couldn't really be bothered to have a proper look around. I tried afew things on in Zara but nothing fitted nice, so I ended up buying the Jimmy Choo perfume!

I've been wanting it since my mam bought it as I kept pinching it, and I have about 1/4 of a bottle left of my Marc Jacobs daisy eau so fresh so I thought I might as well buy a new perfume while I'm here. I picked it up in Debenhams at first and sprayed it on my cardigan but decided against getting it at first because of the price for the little bottle, but all I could smell when I was walking around was that perfume so on the way out we called into House of Fraser and I bought it from there instead. After looking around all the places we wanted to we got something to eat just before leaving then headed for the bus home. I had a nice day actually, but I don't think we'll be going shopping on a Saturday again because it was just too busy and the sales were on. But I guess it's going to be busy from now on considering the schools have broken up for the summer holidays now so I'm expecting it to be packed with kids running around.

Today I haven't done anything apart from shower and get changed into some lazy day clothes (shorts and a t-shirt). I've caught a cold so my nose is all blocked up and it's giving me a bad head which isn't great, I'll have to go and get something for it tomorrow when the shops are open. On Tuesday I have to look after my brothers for a couple of hours in the morning so after that depending on the weather I'm going to walk down to the hair dressers and book an appointment hopefully for this week just for a trim and layers to be cut in, fingers crossed I don't need alot cutting off.

I have no idea what I'm going to do for the rest of the day so I guess I'll just wait and see.

Today has been a little weird, it hasn't felt like a Friday at all, with my boyfriend being off work yesterday and having Nando's for tea last night yesterday felt like a Friday and today feels like a Sunday because I haven't done anything and I haven't seen him since this morning so it all feels a bit strange this weekend.

With having nothing to do today I was having a look on Topshops website as I haven't been on there for awhile and I haven't been in the shop itself in ages either because I think they're getting quite expensive lately. Anyway I was looking at the "Glam Underground" section and spotted these boots.

I actually really quite liked them but was sure I'd seen them before or at least some quite similar and it turns out I had. I searched my wardrobe and found these boots that I bought months ago;

Of course I realise they're not exactly the same, but considering mine were about £20 and the Topshop ones are £62 I don't really care! They're basically the same shape, with the same kind of heel and I've saved my self some money. I haven't worn these out yet but I'm sure I will do soon as I actually really like them. I saw them in Matalan of all places months ago and I'm glad I went back and got them when I saw them.

With looking online most places are getting the Autumn stuff in and I can't wait! As much as I love my summer dresses I love more than anything to get wrapped up in a big coat, with my scarf and hat and my lovely winter wellies. It's just so cosy and warm and I love it, plus I'll be able to wear my Hunter wellies I got for Christmas last year! I seriously can't explain how much I love Autumn/Winter and the clothes, and I'm already on the look out for a new winters coat.

Hello, yesterday was one of my little brothers leaving assembly's at my old primary school. It was actually really nice and I'm glad I ended up going. Plus it was the first leavers assembly/thing my mam has ever been too because when I left primary school I went on holiday two weeks early so I missed mine and then for secondary school I went to Paris instead of prom.

It went on for quite awhile with the children singing, then the Year 6 kids each had to stand up and read out loud afew sentences or a paragraph about some of their favourite memories from school. Some of you might or might not know this but my brother has downs syndrome but has been in a main stream school since reception. Because of him having downs he can't read/write very well but yesterday he stood up and read out loud two full sentences with only a tiny little bit of help from the teacher; I'd never heard him read full sentences before so I couldn't believe it. Then at the very end the head teacher made a speech about my brother, she said how much fun the teachers and the children have had with my brother in the school, and how him being there has helped every one understand about people and children with disabilities and that they're no different from any one else and he got up again and she presented him with a head teachers award (only him an done other girl in the school got one) and then I cried and the teachers cried but it was so lovely.

After that I went out for a couple of hours with my mam to a few shops and to Costco. I'd never been in there before but I've wanted to go for ages and with my mam having a card to get in there now we went in to get a big cake to take into school for all the teachers. Then on the way out we both got a slice of pizza and it was HUGE, it was pretty much the size of my head and I didn't even eat half of it and I was full, but it tasted really nice.

This is what I looked like yesterday; My hair and make-up have been going exactly how I've wanted them too the past few days which is brilliant. My hair seems to be growing again meaning my fringe has grown out a bit more and is more easy to style, and I've been wearing it in a middle parting alot too just because I feel like it's too big and thick when I wear it as a side one and I prefer it like this.

I do need the ends cutting and I'd like to get afew more layers cut in so when I curl it (which is basically all the time unless I'm going to tye it up) it means my fringe will just grow out into my layers. For my foundation since throwing out all but two of my foundations out I've been using a mix of my Cliniqué super balanced and my Revlon colour stay foundation together and it's been the best ever. My Cliniqué one is a little too dark and didn't stay on too well but when mixed with the lighter Revlon one it's the best colour and it stays on for ages. Also I really, really recommend the Collection 2000 lasting perfection concealer, it's amazing! And when I run out of my little sample of Benefits Hight beam I'll be buying that because I love that too.

Right now I'm getting ready to go to the Metro Centre for a Nando's and possibly a look around. I'm going to be wearing my new dress I posted about the other day (with the butterflys on) a pale pink cardigan, and probably my sandals. Then I have my hair and make-up just like the picture above.

Hello, today I ended up going to the Metro Centre. I hadn't planned on going but I have nothing better to do and with staying awake since 6am the day felt like it was dragging and I thought it was 3pm when it was only 11am so I got ready to go. I ended up missing the first bus which was annoying and had to walk home, wait fifteen minutes or longer and then walk to a different bus stop to catch the next one. I wasn't in there long as I didn't really need anything I just went for a look around but I did end up buying a dress, a top and some bracelets all from H&M.

I've seen this dress a couple of times but never tried it on because they've never had it in my size and even the XS size feels a bit too big for me. But maybe that's because the "waist line" bit is tight under my boobs rather than my actual waist which is where I usually prefer it to be, and the neck line is super low compared to what I'm used to so to me it's not fitted in the places I'm used to my dresses fitting so it feels loose/big if that makes sense? I'm sure I'll still wear it alot though.

But I really love the print, and it's very floaty and comfy :)

I wont be doing much else later on I don't think, and I don't have any plans for the rest of the week apart from going to my brothers leaving assembly tomorrow but that's it.

Hello, I'm sorry for not updating in awhile, I haven't really done anything interesting to blog about apart from the usual shopping, going to Nando's and lazing about the house 95% of the time. But on Thursday I got an unexpected text off Mark on the afternoon asking if I was doing anything later, which I wasn't and we ended up going shopping and had a Nando's which was nice. I bought a couple of things but I'm trying to cut down on what I buy, at least until September when I start to get student loan again which I think I'm going to use to buy a new computer, maybe any way!

I bought this little scarf in the sale from Miss selfridge which I've been using to tie in a bow in my hair which is quite cute. And I bought some plain black leggings from there too but I have them on and I'm pretty sure everyone knows what they look like.

Now these shorts; I AM IN LOVE.

I spotted them on a couple of other peoples blogs'/on tumblr and I needed them and when I spotted them the other day I was so happy! I haven't worn them out yet, I was going to wear them last night when I went to Nando's with Steven but I hadn't put any tan on my legs and got really self concious so I changed into jeans and a jumper instead. but I can't wait to wear them, they're so beautiful!!

And I bought three packets of these Nerd sweeties from Fenwick too. I've been wanting to buy some for ages as I used to love them as a kid so I got three different flavours but when I ate them I'd forgot how sour they actually are so I've gave two packets to Steven has he loves sour sweeties.

Today I haven't done much at all.

The dress that I'm wearing in the picture above I've had for about a year and I've never worn it outside before. But when I was shopping the other day with Mark I saw a girl wearing it and it looked lovely on her so I really need to wear it out one day. I'm in the middle of growing my fringe out and it's in that horrible in-between stage where you can't really do much with it so I'm still keeping it in a middle parenting and probably will even when it grows out fully.

Hello, I ended up going to the Metro Centre today, when staying at Laura's the other night (I had a nice time btw) Paris had this gorgeous skirt on and I loved it so I tried it on today and had to buy it, I actually love it so so much.

Hello;

I haven't done much today apart from visit my Grandma and then I came home and tidied my room up which I'd been putting off for weeks. It looks so much better, even though I have to put upto 5 items onto one hanger because they wouldn't all fit in if they each had their own hanger! So I've kind of tidied the "surface" of my room and tomorrow I'm going to get the black bags out and sort out all of my draws, my desk and under my bed ect and just have a proper good clean out and get rid of stuff I no longer need or use any more. Then I think I'll take pictures of my room and maybe make a post about it? My bed room is my favourite place where I can just sit and listen to music and just be in my own little world.

Hello, today after writing my other post I popped upto the post office to send a parcel away then I ended up getting the bus to the Metro just for something to do for the day. I wanted to get a photo frame for the picture or me and Steven but there was none I liked so I ended up buying a new foundation and a dress too.

I used to use this Revlon foundation about a year ago but I always used to put way, way too much on but I like the way it looks on my skin and now I know how much to put on ect it looks so much better. And I got a little sample of Benefits high beam in this months Glamour magazine and I've been dying to try this out for ages as I've heard so much good stuff about it!

And this dress is from Zara, I'd tried it on awhile ago but they only had it in medium and today I found a small and it fits really nice.

I know I had a shower this morning but I think I'm going to run myself a bath and use another one of my Lush products because they smell delicious.

Hello, ok so after yesterdays post about foundations and not wanting to go over to the counters ect, I actually went over to Cliniqué today and there was a lovely woman who came over and helped me pick a new foundation out! She put two different ones on the back of each hand and one felt really heavy and not very nice and the other (which I then bought) was silky smooth and so lovely. Then she did a tester bit on my face to get the right colour and of course I'm the lightest shade they do. And there's a offer on lately if you buy one product, and then one skin care thing you get a free make-up bag with samples inside.

And I got these from New look too, the hoodie is so comfy/warm/soft it's just for lazing about the house and to pull on if I'm going to the shop or to Stevens or something. And I'm desperately in need for flat shoes so I saw these and they'll go with my jeans and trousers I've been wearing alot so I'm pleased I bought these too.

I tried the coral coloured Topshop jeans I'd seen on the website on too, well I attempted to get them on. The jeans I have from there now are a size 8 and I fit into them fine, and they seem a bit less fitted lately so I picked up a size 8 in the coral jeans, and some baby pink jeans in the same size too. When I tried the coral coloured ones on the bottom of the jeans wouldn't even go over my ankle so I was unable to pull them up, but then the pink ones fitted just fine. So I don't understand Topshop sizes, I fit into two pairs of jeans perfectly, then I try a different pair on and I can't even get my foot all the way through, it doesn't make sense. So I was a little bit disappointed about the jeans as they were a lovely colour but never mind. And I couldn't see the hoodie or the top from afew posts below in the store, and I don't want to order them online now incase they don't fit and I have to send them back.

Other than that I've had a lovely day and I'm so so glad and pleased with myself that I actually went over to the counter. I know it doesn't seem like much and you lot probably do it all of the time but I usually feel so intimidated by the people who work there that I just walk past every time but today I didn't so I'm happy! :)

Hello, I'm pretty much all packed and ready except for the things I'll be using today like my make-up and hair stuff ect, but everything else is ready.

And to travel there today I'm wearing the coral coloured butterfly print dress, my big oversized Topshop cream cardigan and sandals, because I want to wear my sandals with the dress on Sunday so it seemed the best idea to just wear them today instead of trying to pack them into the bag and wearing a different pair of shoes today.

for the rest of the day I'm going to laze about until about 2-ish then get in the shower and start getting ready as we're setting off at about 5, maybe abit later but around that time anyway. I hope I have a good weekend and the weather is good too.

Hello, if you've followed me for along time you should know by now how bad I am at making decisions when it comes to my hair. So after yesterdays post saying I bought hair dye to cover it, I no longer need or want it a different colour!

I remembered I bought the directions white toner a couple of weeks ago so I put that on for 35 minutes longer than it says too, and it's made a difference to my hair for sure. Alot of the orange/yellow tones have gone, I would have left it on longer but the bits of my hair that were already a white blonde colour now have hints of purple in them (the toner is a lilac colour) so I washed it off. But I have another tub so I might do it again next month just before my birthday, and I'm going shopping tomorrow to buy the Wella light blonde wash-in wash-out toners to use during the week as normal shampoo. I used to use the red ones and they're pretty good, and I'm going to get some purple shampoo and conditioner to get rid of the rest of the brassy tones.

You might not be able to see the difference compared to the other picture in the post before, but in person I can really tell and I'm so much happier with my hair now. And yesterday I sat with the conditioner on my hair for 2 and a half hours and sprayed my hair with leave in conditioner (which I always use anyway) and my hair was back in good condition.

There's like no hair fall out or snapping now, the fact that the hair dressers proper blow dry your hair and hold the dryer 1cm away from my hair and straighten it straight after probably made my hair feel like crap as well as it just being bleached. But my hair feels lovely and back to normal now, so so happy!!

I'm looking forward to the wedding now, all I need is to get some travel sized shampoo/conditioner or little bottles to pour the stuff I already have in. A new make-up bag and a plain black clutch bag to go with my outfit. Then on the Sunday we're going for Sunday dinner with my step dad's family which should be nice. I thought we were going to his auntys house (the mother of the bride) but I found out today we're going to a pub/restaurant instead so surely they'll be something on the menu that I'll eat!

Hello, it's really sunny outside and I've sat in my room for most of the day. It's my Grandmas birthday today and I was going to go and see her to give her a card but she's still not home so I might pop down later or just post the card through the letter box. But on mothers day I posted the card through the letter box because I thought she'd be at my uncles house having dinner and the next time I went down I got wrong for being in a hurry and not calling in, oops.

Today I've wore my new top I bought the other day and I love it!

There was a hot pink version and a floral version of it too, but of course they didn't have my size so next time I go shopping I'm going to see if I can find them. I might go into Newcastle on Wednesday if the weather is nice and have a look in the New Look in town for them.

Also my hair has started growing fast again, which is great because I'm trying to grow my fringe out for summer so I can just tye my hair all up when it gets too hot or gets on my nerves rather than having to carry a headband around with me or lots of bobby pins in my bag for when my fringe is irritating me. I really want to dip dye my hair too, but I think I'll wait until it's a bit longer before I decide weather to do that or not.

Today it's 52 days until I go to Alton Towers and 53 days until my 19th birthday!

I've never been this excited for a birthday ever, I seriously can't wait!

and I can't wait to finish college for Summer too, even just the thought of having two weeks off (well four days really as I'm only in Wednesdays and Thursdays) has made me feel so relaxed. I'm usually worrying about having to catch up on work or having to get something done in time, but just being able to relax and not think about doing stuff for awhile has made me feel so much happier. I'm sure I'll be bored out of my mind during summer after two weeks but I finish on the 12th May so I'll have my birthday weekend to look forward too.

Hello, right now I'm making my summer play list, I've just finished pretty much all of my college work that needs to be handed in on Thursday and I finally feel all organised and feel like I've caught up on everything as I thought I was way behind.

Any way yesterday was AMAZING!

I wore my dress I posted the other day and my new sandals I got on Friday and my yellow cardigan, and Steven took me to this lovely place to get ice cream (I had strawberry flavour) It was so sunny and warm and the drive there was lovely and there was so many beautiful houses and gardens and I'd happily live in any of them we drove past. It reminded me of Hexham and going on drives there with my Nanna and Grandad and my cousins to our Little nannas house when we were younger.

The picture above is of the sofa in the ice cream place, it was so nice and comfy so I had to take a picture of course. On our way back he asked if I'd like a drive out to Kielder forest so we ended up going there and we had a little walk around and had a scone with cream and jam and it was so nice. I had such a lovely/amazing day, it was the most perfect summers day out ever ever ever! I have butterfly's just thinking about how good it was.

Hello, this morning I was up early, I get up early anyway if I don't stay at home but I usually get home and crawl back into bed for another hour and a half. But this morning as soon as I got in I had to get showered and ready to goto Durham for blood tests, and now I have two poorly arms because the nurse couldn't get any blood out of my left arm, so the doctor had to come in and he managed to get some out of my right arm. I hardly ever, ever get my blood taken so I stupidly decided to watch him put the needle into my arm, I even saw the little hole in the needle and after he'd taken it he went out of the room for about 5 minutes and I thought I was going to pass out! The weather is lovely and warm today, and the room was boiling and with just witnessing a needle go into my arm I was feeling a little faint to I had to pinch a leaflet from his desk to fan myself aha.

Tomorrow I'm going to the metro centre and town with Mark for afew hours, I hate that there isn't a Zara in town because it means we have to get off at metro on our way to town then catch another bus into town just for the sake of a 15 minute look around the Metro because all the other shops are in town, and we like the Nando's in Eldon Square the best so we can people watch from the windows that over look the green.

But if the weather is nice I'm going to wear this outfit.

Yep, I'm even going to get my legs out - If I'm feeling brave and it's sunny.

I got that dress on my 18th birthday from a little shop in York and I've only worn it 2/3 times since I got it and I actually love it so I want to wear it alot this summer. And I've been looking through my wardrobe and the amount of dresses and things I have in there that I NEVER wear is stupid, and half of them I've bought them thinking "I'll wear that next time I go out" but I don't drink so I never really go out and I've basically wasted money on something that's going to sit in my wardrobe, so I might sell them on ebay. I have no idea how to sell stuff on there but I might as well try and make some money for the summer holidays, so I can either save it (unlikely) or spend it on new summer clothes. I need to look into it properly and ask my mam about it too to see if she'll help but fingers crossed I manage to do it properly and not mess up and make some pennies.

Hello, last night me and my boyfriend went to the Metro Centre but ended up not getting what we went for and got some Percy pig sweeties from Marks and Spencer's instead, then he took me to Pets at home! We were going to go afew days ago but it was shut so we went last night and saw these adorable baby rabbits! And little dwarf hamsters and I couldn't stop awwhing at all the animals they were so so cute.

Tonight we're going back to the metro and then going for a walk around Ikea again, it's one of my favourite places ever.

Hello, since the last time I updated this nothing much has happened at all. I had a lovely valentines and I got some lovely presents off too;

A top from topshop with a lovely butterfly design on, a "Think Pink" gift set from Lush which I can't even smell because I'm loaded with cold, a butterfly charm for my Pandora bracelet and a yummy strawberry cupcake!

(That cupcake picture is supposed to be moving but it doesn't work on here)

Over the weekend I managed to get a cold and I'm loaded with it, I can't smell or taste anything apart from today when I had about 10 minutes where I could smell and taste stuff (I made the most of that 10 minutes by eating my cupcake) but I still haven't been able to smell my Lush stuff properly which I'm really gutted about. My mam came into my room before and said my room smells lovely and I'm sat here all stuffed up :( And as well as the blocked nose I now have a sore throat and I keep loosing my voice and when I can talk it's all croaky. I made my way into Newcastle today but stayed on the bus to Eldon Square and rang college to say I wouldn't be going in, so I went for a drink and a walk around Eldon to see if that would make me feel better as I thought I was going to be sick on the bus to town but instead I went really light headed and thought I was going to pass out so I got the next bus home and my step dad picked me up from the other bus stand. I really hope I feel better soon, I hate hate hate having a cold and because I can't breathe through my nose at all my lips have gone all dry and sore too, it's awful. I'm staying off college tomorrow too and i'm going to try and sleep it off and drink lots of water and hot blackcurrant juice.

Hello, it's titled "My mother" because I've spent the day shopping with her today which we hardly ever do any more. But my step dad and one of my little brothers have gone snow boarding in France for a week and my other brother was at school (he has down syndrome so he couldn't really go with them, plus he hates the cold with a passion, and I have college which is why I couldn't go) any way, with everyone being out me and my mam went to the Metro centre for afew hours. It was really lovely and we had a good look around the shops and went for something to eat (my usual McDonalds..) It was just really nice to spend some time together.

I've been thinking of buying some jeans for awhile now but I haven't bought any for about three years and the ones I have tried on during that time I've hated and they haven't fit properly and they were too long for me but I tried these on in Topshop today and I actually really like them. I got a shorter leg length and a smaller size and they fit so well, so I'm happy I like them and happy I've dropped a jean size. I also got the top I'm wearing with them from Topshop too.

I'd seen this top in French Connection ages ago but decided against buying it for some reason (I can't remember why) But I saw it in the sale today it had gone from £30 to £10 so I bought myself it.

And these are just little cute hair clips/badges from H&M, they have a little hair grip on the back and a little safety pin thing on too so they can be used in two different ways.

Oh and I bought this blue jumper and the ring I have on the other day after me and my mam dropped my brother and step dad off at the airport. I have some new shoes on that picture too but you clearly can't see them very well, they're just simple black high heeled boots.

This weekend has been so lovely, on Friday I went to the cinema to see Due Date and it's really funny, I had such a good time and this is what I wore;

Other than that there's nothing else to tell, well there is but I'm not going to post it on here.

Hello, today I went shopping with my mam and took the outfit back and got my money back, thank god!

Then I walked over to Topshop and bought some new make-up with the money instead, and some cat ears so I'm going as a little kitten instead. Well I have kitten ears and I'll do my eye make up cat-like, but I'm wearing normal clothes.

Lipstick in Beguiled

Eye cream in Darkness - It's like a black glitter cream, it's actually amazing.

and just a black liner as I find them easier to use when they're like a pen shape.

And here's the cat ears, I have the lipstick on too.

Then when the rest of the family went out for a walk after dinner I decided to do my make-up like a cat! I won't be wearing it like this for when I go out I don't think, but it's a Sunday and I had nothing else to do!
